I decided to make this thread, because this is my favorite video game series of all time. since we have some gamers on the forum, I thought that I would make this thread so that the fans of this series could talk about and post news on the series.

I am posting it today (September 29, Archangel Michael's day, who I consider my guardian) and its also the anniversery of the events that took place in Resident Evil 2 (my favorite game of the series so far). I still remember when I first played the first Resident Evil, back on May 3, 1996 (yea man its a holiday to me haha). Ever since that day, I've been a hardcore (junkie level) fan of this video game series.

I'm still hoping that Capcom releases Biohazard/Resident Evil 1.5, the original RE2 version of the game. I also prefer the original japanese name of the game "Biohazard", over "Resident Evil". After all it was a biohazardous virus that caused the chaos in the storyline.
My favorite character is Leon S. Kennedy, and my favorite monster is William Birkin aka the "G" monster. I wish that Capcom made a REmake of Resident Evil 2, in the form of how they remade the first game.

I know that they are releasing "Darkside Chronicles" this fall, it follows the events of RE2 and RE Code Veronica....I guess that will have to do for now. But nothing beats the original 3rd person view, of the original games though.



















Any information that you guys find, on the Biohazard/Resident Evil franchise post it here please. Even if you happen to find a sample of the "T-Virus" or "G-Virus", post the damn thing haha. Send it to us, it will make that "Sars" thing from a few years ago, seem like baby powder hahaha.

So what are your thoughts on this game franchise and are there any fans in the house?

P.S. Even though im a hardcore fan of this video game series, I hate the live-action movies based on them, they were trash in my opinion. The only thing that I liked from the movie series, was that the Nemesis monster looked exactly like the game version. But I hate the "Crouchin Tiger Hidden Dragon/ Matrix" crap that was thrown in the movie....I cant stand that "flying around kicking off walls" wire sht, but these are just my opinions.

o man how i also remember the "nights without lights" while playin these games. i remember when i first got RE2 back on friday Jan. 23, 1998 (im tellin you guys, its a holiday when its comes to these games haha). i was just waitin for the bell to ring at school, just so i could go pick up the game, i had it prepaid just incase they ran out. i bought two RE2 and still have one still case fresh and factory sealed. i stayed up that night and beat Leon A...in the wee hours of Jan. 24, 1998 i think it was 4:30 am when i was done....i got up the next day around 9:30 so that i wont miss X-Men on fox kids.

its funny cause some of the actors that voiced the RE characters, also voiced characters for fox's X-Men. Alyson Court, who voices Claire Redfield, voiced Jubilee for years on that X-Men cartoon. Catherine Disher who voiced Jean Grey, also voiced Jill Valentine for RE3. Paul Haddad who voiced Leon in RE2, also voiced Quicksilver in an X-Factor episode. Ashley, i also jumped a few times man...for me it was Mister X's "droppin by unannounced" literaly haha, that did it for me. also it was when my life was in "danger", and i had no herbs and the evolved Lickers would jump down in the underground laboratory...i hated that crap. but yea man this game is a masterpiece.

DG have you seen the CGI movie that came out just before RE5? It was pretty good and features Leon and Claire. I love these games as well, and have some pretty good memories. My favorite is a toss up between Code Veronica X and RE4, though RE5 was damn good. Ah lets call it a 3 way tie. They have a pretty sweet t-shirt if you pre-order the next game, if you flip it over your head it has a zombie face on it. I'll try to find pics so I can post them. My son is absolutely insane for the Resident Evil franchise, he has the games for all the systems and the various figures. His favorite character is Wesker.

hey GAH, nice too see more RE fans in here. RE2 is my most favorite, but RE4 is my number 2, because its Leon, its in spanish and it takes place in Spain. yea i own "Biohazard: Degeneration" in english and spanish. the last two shot thats i posted of Leon are from that movie. though it couldve been a little longer, and more violent i still liked it. i own almost every single Biohazard/Resident Evil game ever made...(i get both japanese and american versions for each)....but unfortunatley i still havent been able to get or personally play BH/RE5...due to the fact that i cant afford a PS3 or X360 yet. im also missin Gaiden, Gun Survivor 2&3, Outbreak 1&2, Umbrella Chronicles (i dont own a Wii yet), BH/RE for saturn, and RE2 for Game com.

but i do own every other BH/RE games ever made, i have a used and factory sealed version for each game that i own. i still even have BH2 and RE2 for N64. i even have the BH 1.5 demo, not the one that came with RE directors cut (i own that one too), but the one with Elza Walker.

you dont know how bad this is botherin me that i dont have BH/RE5 yet, since ive always bought every RE game the same day or atleast the same week that they are released. please to the guys that have played and beat RE5, please Do Not discuss the endin or the game yet....i still want to be surprised with the story, when i play it.

GAH, that would be great man, if you could please show me those pictures im lookin forward to them. i could never get enough RE/BH stuff.

I attached 4 pictures of the t-shirts. They come with resident evil darkside chronicles when you pre-order. I also added some pics of the new hot toys Stars Wesker figure. I've beaten RE5 once, I've almost beaten it again on veteran mode and I'm going to play through again on professional mode when I've unlocked that.

wow man thanks, those pictures are cool. the shirt is cool, but the Wesker figure is a million times better, hes so freakin detailed he looks real. in the picture without his sunglasses, he looks like hes channelin the devil hahaha. ive always wondered, if Wesker ever gets injured bad enough, if he has the power to transform into a monster since he has a mixture of viruses in him. i guess one day i will find out.

im goin to get RE/BH Darkside Chronicles even if i dont ever buy a Wii....but i just dont want to buy a system for one game. the same thing kind of happend to me with the dreamcast, i got it cause CV was originaly supposed to be exclusive for dreamcast, it was said in magazines....but that turned out to be a load of crap after awhile....if you see all the CV versions that have been out since. the samethin with gamecube i got it for REmake and RE0, and thats on Wii now.

Hmmmm, interesting thought on Wesker. The eyes on that Wesker figure actually light up, I'm not sure if they did on the RE5 figure though. They have online play with RE5 that's really good. Oh and don't worry the damn Lickers are back too. I kinda miss the old RE games, I'd like them to do a re-make or one set during the first outbreak in Raccoon with the old school Zombies and puzzles.

wow the eyes light up too?? damn thats awesome! his eyes have been glowin since hes stopped bein human. after Birkin injected Wesker with the "experimental virus", he was carryin it in his system right before the Tryant killed him. so then after the Tyrant contaminated Wesker with the T-Virus, what brought him back was the mix of the T-Virus and the "X-Virus" (lets call it that since the virus doesnt have a name yet). im almost positive that since he has multiple, viruses pumpin through his system, he could do alot more then the whole "Mr. Smith, Matrix crap" that hes been doin.

ive always wondered if the virus that Birkin injected into Wesker, was the "G-virus" (after all thats the virus that Birkin created, and was experimentin with at the time). so then Wesker didnt mutate because he also had the T-Virus injected in him, in the form of the Tyrants claws. so then, by havin both viruses within him, the viruses cancel each other out and stabalize Wesker, by havin him maybe mutate at will. look at Krauser, he was able to mutate his arm at will, and he was allied with Wesker, maybe Krauser was carryin the same "X-Vrius" that Wesker had before the "T-Virus".

hahahah i could keep playin, "Stephen King and George Romero" with speculation and story ideas but its an open topic with what Wesker really "is" now.

o man, i cant wait...im still savin dough for a PS3 and RE5. you know, if Albert Wesker wouldve been a real life person, he would probably be the leader of the "Aryan Brotherhood" prison gang aka "The Brand" haha. Wesker has blonde hair, he has great leadership skills, and is very very calm and laid back.....that guy barely shows facial expression...hes like a Nazi, in stoicness.

most of law enforcement, consider it a "prison gang", but i consider it a criminal organization. i think anyone that could extort money from an Italian mob boss, and get away with it, is a criminal group that has serious weight...on the streets and in prison.

i could see it now, straight fom the hells of San Quentin....

Wesker: alright, put Redfield and Valentine's names, in "the hat".....im done with those two.

Birkin: should i put Burton's name in there too?

Wesker: no not yet, we still need him as our "Judas".

check this clip out, its from the first "G" malformation fight in the Darkside Chronicles game. Birkin looks great and the grapics look great. i just hate that this game is only on the Wii.

i wish Capcom released a REmake of RE2/BH2 in original third person view. im not into the whole "House of The Dead" first person view.

Biohazard 5/Resident Evil 5 Alternative Edition, comin spring 2010. heres a trailer to the game.



i still havent been able to play RE5 yet, but with this RE5AE it seems as if RE1 has been remade again, now with Chris and Jill sneakin into the mansion alone, instead of runnin into it from the Zombie dogs... also Jill is wearin a cap here instead of a barrett.... they had it right the first time with the gamecube REmake, but now its gettin stupid with how many times they keep remakin the first game. Capcom should remake Biohazard 2 /RE2, in the form that they did the RE REmake for gamecube.....i have a feelin that they will hopefully REmake RE2, and Darkside Chronicles doesnt count as a total REmake to me though, cause its a first person shooter.
