i first saw it today on CNN...below is the article.

a few things i can see happenin is Scrooge McDuck havin a beef, with Howard the Duck. the Disney Beast tryin to start crap with Hank McCoy...because Belle prefers Henry, over the Prince. now theres two Hercules, the Disney and Marvel one. and Puck and Grumpy might throw down....

i dont hate Disney but im glad that it wasnt DC Comics that they purchased...cause then we would all be screwed....one more step at takin over the world....huh Disney?

what do you guys think of the purchase?

Marvel stock is through the roof, I bet. As long as Disney doesn't get involved with content, Marvel could really benefit from Disney's marketing power. Disney has flexed it's "family values" muscle by eliminating lesbians from ABC and probably nixing lots of controversial projects we'll never know about, but hopefully they'll be smart and let Marvel be.

I think this has been in the works for a while--did anyone see this Super Hero Squad cartoon crap Marvel was doing with their characters? It has Disney written all over it.

yea, stock is through the clouds i saw it on CNN...im sure theres been a few casulties in the tradin pits these past few days...if you know how rough brokers can get. i agree they might be good for Marvel, but only if they dont try to tone down Marvel characters. i cant really see Frank Castle, with a water gun instead... i guess this purchase was bound to happen....DC Comics is owned by Warner Bros and WB owns Looney Tunes characters. ive always seen Looney Tunes and Disney characters, as rivals to each other....same with DC Comics and Marvel...so maybe thats another reason why this happend.
