    Default Peter Benjamin Parker

this character is my most favorite Marvel character of all time. he was created by Stan Lee (we all know this comic genius) and Steve Ditko. Mr. Lee and i come from the same place in NYC. ive always seen Peter Parker and Stan Lee as one in the same in personality, they have alot of similar traits...to me its like Mr. Lee is the real life version of Peter Parker/Spider-man.
i embrace Peter's character because hes humble, caring, hes highly intelligent, he well-manered and always turns the other cheek (which is very hard to do at times for most of us) in his personal life. and his sense of humor even when things arent lookin too well for him. he was never a rich guy or a ladies man or a "popular" guy in school but instead he was considered a nerd or wallflower.

he always does whats right even though most of the time, he never gets his way....and helps others even though most of the time hes on his own when hes in need of help. also his love for his family and how hes goes out of his way for them and others before himself. Peter Parker is one of the most humane comic book characters of all time hes up there with Dick Grayson in my book. ive always wanted to meet Mr. Lee, he seems like such a humble and nice guy. ive always wanted to tell him what his work means to me, and what the character of Spider-Man means to my mother and I.

my mother is a middle-aged woman, and the character of Peter Parker/Spider-Man also appeals to her because of Peter's humanity.....Mr.Lee's talent and works appeal to people of all ages. hopefully one day i will have the chance to meet and tell him what his work means to us.

so what does Peter Parker mean to you?

While he isn't my favorite Marvel character (that goes to Iron Man), Spidey has always appealed to me because for all the good he does, he most always finishes last.

I think that that resonates with a lot of people which makes him very popular. My first experience with Spidey came in the form of Marvel Team-Up 130. Very good story in which he teams up with Vision and the Scarlet Witch. It was part of a two part story.

I've kind of been Spider-Man'd out--serious overexposure. I did dig the comics when I was younger; he was always running into trouble and being ambushed, which was kind of different for superheroes.

My favorite Marvel hero is the ever-loving Thing. He's big, scary, but a good-hearted, honest, noble guy underneath. God bless him.

I liked the original concept of Spidey, what Lee did was interesting. I've got to say though I really don't care for him now or for the last several years. I like the movies, probably because that is how Spidey was meant to be when Lee created him with Ditko.
My favorite Marvel hero is the much overexposed WOLVERINE.
