Justice League Archives - Rittenhouse Update!
It seems that this trading card set keeps getting pushed back and back and back. While it was originally slated to be released in July, it has since been pushed back to September and now December!
Expect the card set to be released in December now. I have done some digging and found a few examplues of some of the sketch cards from the set. The five newest cards I found are from artist Andy Price. You can check them out below!
Also, there are some indications that this will be the last DC card set from Rittenhouse. The rumor mill says that there are too many hands in the pot to try and keep the DC cards rolling because DC lawyers want to have too much control over the sets. This is quite sad because there was the opportunity to do something special...

Justice League of America Archives (Rittenhouse Archives) Rittenhouse Archives presents Justice League of America Archives Trading Cards, the first-ever trading card set to feature the JLA, including Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Flash, Green Lantern, Aquaman, and more! The 72-card set features full-color art on the fronts and classic comic covers on the back. Bonus chase cards include an 18-card Superfriends cartoon bonus set, as well as 1 Hand Drawn Color Sketch Card per box! Look for sketch cards from Warren Martineck, Andy Price, Pat Broderick, Kate Bradley, Mark Spears, Tone Rodriguez, and dozens more! Collectors will be looking to store their set in a custom-designed album, with 9-pocket pages and a bonus promo card. 5 cards per pack, 24 packs per box.... Visit the News Section for more...

I had been on the lookout for these. I have like 4 sets of the old Cosmic Cards and was looking for a newer series. I don't know how much I like the cartoony artwork, though.

well I can tell you that I don't like it at all. I've been wanting a very cool DC trading card series for a while now, but that wack ass art style is for the birds. can some one point me in the direction of a more traditional DC card series?

That isn't the art for the basic card set. That is randomly inserted sketch cards (1 per box). Not all are like this it just depends on the artist that you pull.
I like the cartoonish look on these though and Andy Price is one of my favorite sketch artists... Check out my photo album for sketch cards pulled from the DC Legacy set and some commissions...
