Default Amazing Find - Batman 1966 Movie Poster

Do you remember the first Batman movie? No, I am not talking about the Tim Burton/Michael Keaton hit! I am talking about the original Batman movie starring Adam West and Burt Ward. It was a great movie that had all the vibe of the hit TV series.

It included The Joker, The Penguin, Catwoman, and The Riddler! It had the Ultimate Bat-Villains! Now you can own the original poster to the "original" movie! Check out the link below...

i used to love this movie! i first saw it in the 1980's. i even attempted the rope climbs...and let me tell you it didt end well.....it wasnt a "low neighborhood" it felt pretty high with my fall. i even had a battery operated bootleg version of the batcycle from the movie and the Robin cart, and it came with a plastic Batman and Robin on them.

I have some great memories of this movie and TV series. This is what started it for me, I'm actually going to pick this up on Blu-ray this week.

Aww that poster is cool, but it's only a "little" out of my price range.

While we're talking about Batman and Blu-ray I have to say that I'm disappointed with the packaging quality of the 89' film. My brother-in-law came over to borrow my Blade Runner and he noticed that the tray that was holding Batman in place came loose. We can only assume that it got sort of warm upstairs, but it's not in any direct sunlight or even anywhere that you would think it could be in danger of melting the glue. Sorry...just had to vent there.

How much was the 89 movie on blu-ray? I see it at wal-mart every day but, there is no price on anywhere near it...

Amazon has it for $23.99. The book is cool, but I would have rather had it in the regular BD case for uniformity. Can't complain though as it was a gift.

Actually not sure if anyone is interested (because most the films stink), but Amazon has the Anthology on Blu-Ray for $57.99 today.
