Thread: Grisle's Collection

  1. #1

    Default Grisle's Collection

Here's a little bit of my collection. Unfortunately not everything can be displayed so I have a ton of toys and Batman stuff that are in my closet.

Here's my small, but ever growing collection of DCUC. (You're thinking what is Zodac doing there and why is he covering up a Super Nintendo?...Those are good questions. I'm waiting on some new bubbles for my MOTUC and there wasn't room for him the way things are. It's cool...he probably shares some body parts with these guys anyways.

Here's my MOTU collection. Mainly MOTUC, but I do have a few commemorative. At one point I had them all and like a dummy I sold them along with all my loose and MOC originals.

My one and only MOC Super Powers with some harder to find Joes.

    Here's my game collection

Here's my trades...Ha...I just noticed there's a picture of my wife and sister with their interior design teacher (not sure why they took a picture with him).

I've got a lot more Joes and Batman figures that I may post at some point, but they're probably not all that interesting.

Nice collection and it is always nice to see Blue Beetle featured in any collection!

Yeah I love that Blue Beetle. I just ordered the 2 Parademons, Superman/Brainiac, and the Wave 1 Batman, Orion, and Etrigan. I was trying to stay small, but whatever these figures are cool. I'm gonna have a hard time with space soon cause I wanna order that Earth 3 pack too. I hope my wife doesn't get mad at me.

You are shock! Hokuto No Ken is awesome! I don't know if you've ever had the chance to see it played in a JPN PS3, but it's quite possibly the best looking 2D game I've ever seen when upscaled. My brother might be getting it at some point as an arcade cabinet. You looking forward to any new games coming out soon? Blazblue is made by the same team as Hokuto no Ken.

Rei is definitely a cool character. That would be awesome to get the atomiswave cart. I'm also looking forward to Tekken 6. I've been playing my UFC game to keep up with some fighting games, but I just got Blazblue today which is just like Guilty Gear. KOFXII comes out in a few weeks so I'm excited about that and then Tekken 6 will be out in a few months. I'm also looking forward to Arkham Asylum, but we'll see how that plays.

It's funny, but I never had any of the NA He-Man stuff as a kid. I had almost everything MOTU, but I guess I had already moved into games in 86' so I didn't get into the NA stuff, but I wish I had Slush-Head and Optikk. There's a possiblility of owning them with the new MOTUC line. I like having those 2 NA He-Man and Skeletor loose right next to the others cause they're so ugly and they make me laugh.

I'm also a big fan of Ninja Gaiden. I have the trilogy boxed for my NES and the SNES trilogy cart. I thought aboout getting it boxed, but it just never happened. You've got a sealed one huh...pretty impressive. You said you have a lot of sealed games...that's cool. I also thought about starting up a sealed collection of older games because I've got most of them on my modded Xbox, but there's so many cool things to get that it just never ended up happening either.

RE5 and Ghostbusters are both amazing games on the PS3, as well as Infamous. I'm really looking forward to Arkham Asylum, collectors edition of course. I want the bigass Batarang.

Nick, you dont know how hard it was for me to get Ninja Gaiden Trilogy sealed....it was way before it shot up to ransom "buy it now" prices on ebay. i had a factory sealed Mega Man 7 but some p.o.s. stole it from my house....if i ever found that guy, it would be worth him stealin it just so i could do what i want to do, if i found him....the only FS Mega Man i have left is Mega Man 3 for nes. most of these games are sealed in boxes in storage but i have some pictures of them before i sealed them away. im a big Guilty Gear and King Of Fighers and Fatal Fury fan....the first game i ever got for the KOF series was the japanese version of KOF 95 for Sega Saturn it came with that extra memory cart for the back of the saturn. youre right the NA of He-man designed was a little weird lookin..i remember gettin that He-man in a two with some guy wearin a Mr.Freeze like helmet. GameAH, im aumin you finally got GB the video game....what system did you get it for and did you have any glitches while playin it?

Are you into RPGs at all. I'd really like to get Earthbound boxed...I have the cart and I just think it's so weird and quirky. I have mixed feelings though because it's a huge box with the strategy guide. Sorry to hear about your MM7...that sucks. Yeah man you gotta get one of the current gens for Blazblue and KOFXII...and of course Ghostbusters. I haven't paid much attention to it, but your excitement has me interested to see if it's worth playing.

I got Ghostbusters for PS3, haven't had any glitches, but it did freeze on me once. I really can't stress enough how cool inFamous is. Being able to play as a hero or villain, and the way you can develop your powers is cool. It's just like you would imagine a good superhero game. I'm not a big fan of fighters, though I did get MK vs DCU. My son collects all those Japanese fighters and such as well. I played all the MegaMan games upto about 8. Really didn't care for the MMX games though.

I played the infamous demo and I really liked it. I suppose I should give it another shot to play through the whole game. I liked MKvDCU, but I wish they would have went to Capcom. At the time Capcom and Marvel were still at odds, but I think they may have worked that out being that they're releasing MvC2 for PSN and XBLA. I just waant to see my favorite DC characters in sprites.

i used to like rpgs when i was a kid but i prefer action/adventure like Zelda. i heard they were goin to release a remake of Final Fantasy 7 for ps3 but it will look like the CG movie but be an adventure game like Zelda without the rpg gameplay. thanks Nick, i really loved my Mega Man 7 but unfortunately sht happens....it wont happen again though.... if it does, i guess ill be posting on this board directly from Riker's Island hahahahahah. Ghostbusters looks like a really good game i was waitin for it since late 2006/early2007....im a huge fan of that franchise. if you were ever a fan of the movie or the Real Ghostbusters show, then you should give the game a try. im really tryin hard to find a job, so i could get enough dough to buy alll the things ive been wantin to get for awhile now.

GameAh, i wonder why the game has been freezin, everyone thats play it seems to have had that same problem....i like the early mega man x games but i prefer the original mega man games....theres no Blues/Protoman..in X, unless you want to believe the rumor that Zero is actually Protoman rebuilt..... Nick i would also like to see a DC fightin game in old school 2D graphics...somethin like the Hokuto No Ken game you and i were talkin about. imagine DC Comics vs Marvel? it would be cool if Capcom made it too or a collaboration between WB, SNK, Atomiswave, Capcom, and offcorse Marvel.

It only froze up the once Grayson, it just pissed me off because it was during a boss battle and I had just beat the boss. Now I'm having a hell of a time trying to beat him again. I bought Wolverine and it was very glitchy and froze a lot, I took it back for another copy and haven't had a problem since.

o i see...yea i asked cause everwhere ive read on boards, and the people that have played GB..have complained about it freezin for all the systems its for. i also heard that the PC version was readin as an error for alot of people tryin to install it. if these games were released with these problems, atari should do a recall and fix it...but it most likely wont happen...

The only game that ever froze on me was Assassin's Creed. It did it once, but I read about it happening to others a lot so I decided not to spend anymore time on the game.

I thought this guy was cool so I spent more than I should have on him, but it was under $25.

Is that a prototype or a custom?

  20. #20

I think it's a prototype. I'm not really into buying those as they usually have strange colored pieces, but this seller had a ton of other unpainted DC items and said this was just an unpainted version. I liked the color. There was a gray Skeletor out there that I missed. I like the darker protos.

I'm starting to have trouble displaying all my MOTUC and DCUC items. It looks kind of ugly right now, but we're only staying where I'm at temporarily and I can wait to get some more displays. I need some nice displays like some of you guys have.

I have 3 of the Detolf cases from Ikea. They run around $90, which isn't too bad, and they survived moving, so they're durable. I don't have an Ikea near me, but have had family bring them back from trips to Minneapolis and LA. The shipping on them is way more than their cost.

Thanks DG...sometimes I've just gotta have both. It can get expensive, but if I don't I'm constantly staring at the MOC pieces with unsavory intents.
The sig is from one of my crazy co-workers who speaks in very hard to understand Spanglish. He has a few gems that come out of his mouth, but they can't be fully experienced unless you hear his delivery.

I'll have to check those out. There are a couple Ikea's within an hours drive. I have a nice Ikea display that would work for some stuff, but it's a little big for the place I'm in now.
