There was a Justice League show as well with Superman, Flash, Green Lantern, Atom and Hawkman. I can't find the intro for that one though.

Super Powers Team: Galactic Gaurdians (1985)

this was in my opinion the best super friends incarnation and the closest to the comic art. it featured stories and characters in the comic books at the time. at 0:25 - 0:26 the closted thing we got to a Teen Titans cartoon we got in the 1980's (unless you count the Teen Titans PSA), ah saturday mornins on ABC those were the days....

really? it was released to go with the 50th anniversery of the character back in 88. i remember where the logo of Supes hodin up a birthday cake, was everywhere from nestle quick to notebooks and ive been hopin for warners to release this on dvd...but i dont know why they dont...it had a Supes episodes and then a segment "Superman's Family Album" i think was the name of the segment, that focused on memories of Clark growin up. it was a good cartoon, it even had Wonder Woman in an episode. i think you might like the series if you saw it.

Yes, there was Plastic Baby! I agree, the Elongated Man was underappreciated--he had serious Bat-level detective skills. But I liked Plastic Man, he was just silly, which isn't a bad thing. He was good comic relief for the "Big 7" JLA--every team needs someone who cracks jokes.

I totally agree. This is the point where the show's artwork really peaked. The stories were pretty good as well. The characters actually seemed to have some complexity and human feelings.

hey guys check these 1988 Superboy promos out:

that youtube channel contains alot of video of this show. it has clips of Superboy both John Newton and Gerard Christopher versions. i personaly always preffered Newton as Superboy over Christopher... but Christopher's Superboy had better episodes.

    Bizarro on Superboy

Gerard Christopher in a dual role Superboy vs Dark Superboy

Dark Superboy's look is the closest that we have ever gotten, to a live-action 1990's version of Kon-El.
