    Default Artists announced for Batman Archives Sketch Cards





    Sketch Artists featured in this set include: Sci-Fi Hobby has announced the artists for their upcoming Batman Archives Card set. The following artists will be doing sketch cards that will be randomly inserted into packs of the upcoming set. There is one sketch card per box. The set will be released on September 17th this year.

    Has anyone picked these up? I am a little leary of "card sets" as the ones I have appear worthless on the secondary market but these look like they could be spectacular.

    These don't come out until Sept but, for me it isn't about the actual card set. I purchase boxes to get the sketch card in each box. That's really what I am after. Look in my picture albums and you can see some of the sketches I pulled from the DC Legacy card set...

    That Batman by Hodges is great. I was leaning towards a basic set off ebay as they are cheap but perhaps a box is in order. How much are they directly? Ebay seems to be in the $60 range.

    Don't quote me but you should be able to pick them up for 60-90 a box... I believe that the Batman boxes will go quicker than the DC Legacy did though...

    Thanks something to keep in mind. I do really like the Batman Masterpiece set they put out in the 90's so this may warrant a purchase.
