Hush series 1 Hush

One of the most amazing things about Batman is his Rouges Gallery, a collection of some of the most recognizable and popular villains in the business.
One of the recent additions to this group is the main antagonist of the Hush storyline, the Hush himself.
Now I must say I was actually disappointed when his identity was finally revealed to be his childhood friend Tommy Elliot. I was expecting something more shocking, that's all.
Well on to the review now.
Packaging:
Again, check Batman review for the more detailed description of the box.
Sculpting:
Tim Bruckner did one heck of a job here. Hush looks like he jumped right out of the comic book. Everything is here, the symbol, the belt pouches, kneecaps, trench coat and it looks great.
Head-sculpt is really menacing and really captures the angry look he had in the story's finale. Trench coat looks awesome, it starts with a great sculpted collar ends with a rubber piece that reaches almost to his ankles.
The rest of the body looks great too, with the already mentioned symbol and pouches with some great works around the boot area too.
The sculpted guns in his hands look mighty fine too, it makes him look very menacing on the shelf.
Absolutely no complaints here, good job!
There`s also an exclusive version with Jason Todd's head and `R` instead of the `H` logo.
Paint:
Hush`s head is colored in pale grey color, with darker tone of grey around the eyes.
The rest of the body is painted in black, while the belt is yellow and the rest of the details are red.
The trenchcoat itself is painted in caramel brown.
Another good job here, there are no paint bleeds really, which is hard when you have a detailed sculpt like this. One complaint I have is that one of the pouches is a little on the pale side when compared to the rest of them, then again your figure might not have a problem like this.
Articulation:
Now when I first opened the figure, I noticed one big issue. His neck cant move! Not left or right or anywhere. This is not a common problem since I was informed that figure actually has a ball jointed neck similar to Batman`s, just a quality control issue. Because of this, it will not affect my overall score, so I will count the neck as ball joint.
The rest of the articulation is pretty standard really- cut shoulders, elbows, wrists, knees and legs. He looks best when you pose him like you`re supposed to-pointing his guns forward.
Accessories:
Bupkis. Nada. Nista. Not a single accessory aside from the Batman logo base. I really think that guns should have been removable but alas they are not.
Difficulty to find: easy
You should find this bad boy really easy online, and you can still find him in some stores even after all this time.
Overall: 4/5
Let`s see. Great sculpt, good paint job, standard articulation (with some QC issues) and zero accessories. Because I think we won't be seeing many figures of Hush in the future, I recommend picking this one up. Its a good display piece that will go well with the rest of your rogues.
Pictures for Hush and Ivy will probably be done by Monday.
