Hi, here are pics of my DC figures from the Super Powers Collection, Total Justice and DCUC.
Hi, here are pics of my DC figures from the Super Powers Collection, Total Justice and DCUC.
What a treat! Thanks for taking me down memory lane! Your Super Powers collection is cool and all are in exceptional condition. Mine were all beat up from playing with them. Kinda wish I still had them now... Awesome collection Flash!
Thanks Ashley. I picked them up on ebay over the course of a year, a year-and-a-half and finished the collection about 2 years ago. The Batmobile is actually the only one that is mine from way back in the day; Most of my figures got destoyed or lost long ago, of course.
That is just awesome... I can't stop coming back and looking at the stuff. I am impressed!
Really nice collection Flash, I still have most of my original ones. They are in excellent condition as well, I guess I took good care of them. I picked up some things on ebay also but my collection isn't complete like yours. Thanks for sharing.
Congrats on keeping yours in good shape; I enjoyed playing with them too much when I was younger and I had an older brother who destroyed quite a few of mine. It took me a while to get some of the harder to find ones like Captain Marvel, Mr. Miracle, and Cyborg. I usually set a limit of how much I want to pay on ebay and refuse to bid higher. Eventually I got them at pretty good prices. Good luck completing your collection, Game.
Thanks! I bought Captain Marvel when he came out, I also came across a Mr. Miracle but let my future wife to be talk me out of getting it. I did eventually get one on ebay as well as the hard to find Cyborg. The figures I'm missing are fairly easy to find on ebay with the exception of Golden Pharoah who I hardly ever seem to see and when I do he's a ridiculous price. I've just been to lazy to look lately, been concentrating more on the DCUC figures. Glad to have you as a member.
Thanks Game, it's good to be aboard. I've always been more of a DC fan than Marvel and I saw some of the Wave 3 DCUC figures at my local Target in September and was like, "I must have these." It's good to see a line with more than Batman and Superman again, and that characters like the Demon, Deathstroke, Booster Gold, and Captain Atom are being made available to the masses (Well, except for the Wave 5 figures--sorry, I'll never stop complaining about the Wal-Mart "exclusives"). At any rate, I look forward to reading and responding to everyone about figures and whatnot.
I remember buying the SP stuff for my son.. now thirty.
That batman is the one on the teaser on Boomerang before the SF episodes... Wish I could go back in time to snatch them when son out
grew them. Got a Tonner Batman on ebay today to make up for the melancholy blues !!!!
Yes, I think we'd all go back and save some figures of ours or our kids. Little did we know how much we'd value them later. GR--at least as a bat collector, you have a lot of figures to choose from. I like the DCUC line because they're choosing some obscure and niche characters. I mean, we have Captain Atom, Amazo, and Killer Moth, but no Martian Manhunter--Who would've thought?
Impressive collection! Your Super Powers and DCUC look awesome!
wow Flash, thats a freakin cool collection man! you know what i always wanted to do....if DC Direct ever releases thier version of Super Powers, i wanted to put the Super Powers version of a character on the left side, then the DC Direct version of SP on the right side and take a picture of each character in pairs and title it "before and after". i really want the DCUC collection now after i saw them in person....they are indeed very detailed and have great head sculps..i wish i wouldve seen them in person when i had the dough to buy them.....im now broke and laid off...

I wanted to do the same thing with the Super Powers and the DCUC, but without the title. So far I've only bought one MOC Super Powers and it doesn't even have a DCUC counterpart yet. Sorry to hear about the lay off...good luck on the job hunting!
hey Nick, thanks alot man...hopefully ill find somethin soon, and get the dough again to buy cool stuff.

Hey everyone,
I just moved to a new house, so I had to pack, haul, and re-setup my collection. It's essentially the same, except I took some Wal-Mart suction cup hooks and fishing line and made the appropriate characters hover.

I was able to find a set of clear plastic figure steps that make it a lot easier to see them all.

Sick, just sick! Where did you get the shelving things for the Super Powers figures?
Yes, they fit perfectly in the display case! Here's the ones that I bought: Clear Action Figure / Toy 3-Stair Deluxe Display Shelf<br>for Medium-Sized Action Figures and Toys. If you look on the very bottom left in the links under "Visit Collecting Warehouse" you will find a ton of other stands, display domes, risers, and stairs. I'd like to get all my Total justice on one shelf, but they're strangely shaped with the armor on, so I may try something with some of the risers they sell.
thanks for the link! Consider it bookmarked!
Here is my little Flash army, Wave 9 (it's currently in the closed part of a book shelf due to space issues), and my cases downstairs.
cool "Flash Force" collection there man! youre even showin your personal loyalty, to the Flash with your t-shirt.

The cabinets are called Detolf from Ikea. They ran about $90 apiece, which is pretty good, I think. The only problem is I live in the Boondocks so my Father-in-law got one for me when he went to Minneapolis and my Brother-in-law brought two from L.A. last Christmas, courtesy of my wife. They are definitely a collector's best friend.
