Dennis Hopper Dead at 74!

Mr. Hopper died today from cancer in Los Angeles home.

man im goin to miss this guy, loved his work and talents.... i loved him in "True Romance", "Speed", "Land of the Dead", "Super Mario Bros"... my favorite movie that he created was "Colors" with Sean Penn and Robert Duval. so far its last year its Mr. Jackson and Mr. Swayze, and Mr. Hughes... then earlier this year its Mr. Haim, then Mr. Dio, yesterday it was Mr. Coleman, and less than 24 hours later, its Mr. Hopper... huge parts of the 1980s are slowly dyin away...which freakin sucks...for those of us that love the 1980's decade.

He was great in Speed, damn shame. Doesn't look good in that last video with Jack. Horrible what cancer does to a person, had to watch father-in-law waste away from bone cancer. I truly hope they come up with a cure in my lifetime.

sorry to hear about your father-in-law GAH... and i agree it is depressin, to just see someone waste away. just look at how Patrick Swayze's health, just declined until he passed away.... its freakin sad.

Yeah, my grandpa died from bone cancer. It is very tough watching someone go through that knowing you can't do anything for them...

Damn another good one is gone. Cancer really stinks. My family has the gene and it has torn through our family as long as I can remember. My mom is a three time winner against the battle. She got breast cancer 14 years ago and beat it. just last year it came back (they missed some tissue the first time around) and she beat it again. Then a few months later was diagnosed with ovarian cancer and had two tumors the size of softballs removed. She has now been tested clean once again. I tease her at times and tell her all the hell she went through with my antics as a teenager made her much stronger in order to beat cancer and stay around in order to pay me back.


With Hopper, he once did an interview about the joint scence he filmed with Jack and Peter back in the day saying the joints where real and it took forever to get their lines said right because they where so fregging stoned.

damn man that really heavy...sorry to hear about what your mother's been through... she sure sounds like a strong woman, and God willin she will stay healthy. all these stories from you guys are depressin, and i do feel your pains...nothin is worse than havin loved ones suffer through things, and not be able to change the scenario yourself.
