....hmm......when i first read the headlines i just thought "aw damn it what the F?!", because im a fan of old school stunts and old school effects over CGI in live-action. but now that i read that hes goin to be wearin a motion capture suit, it might work. so i guess on film his suit will look like its glowin... so is it supposed to light up, in the same way that the kryptonian clothin did on Superman 1978? im still skeptical with this, but we will see how it turns out.

It will also allow them to change the suit in different parts. I could see Hal mastering the ring's power and creating a badass armored uniform or something. And for every different suit, there's a different statue/poster/action figure--Cha-ching!

good thinkin Flash, and i agree with you. they were probably goin to do that anyway, like they do with every single superhero character. but now they will have more of an excuse, to create more toy versions of the character. p.s. dont forget the "Blade Trinity" and "Just Friends" possible Reynolds GL forms hahaha.

GL almost always has the ring generated "aura" around him as well, so it could be for that. Maybe they'll add the new style chest insignia that "floats" above his chest too?

I think for a character like GL, you can't really fault them for using CGI--I mean, the ring can do just about anything. I'm sure it will look cool, but I hope it doesn't look too fake--think the original Tron.
