sorry to hear about what happend to Mr. Colan, its a freakin shame. the articles doesnt say where it happend, but i found another article from New York, and so im asumin it happened here. it doesnt suprise me at all, if it happend here... with all the people out of work and lack of dough, NYC is startin to become the crime ridden city that it used to be before Giuliani. theres recently been constant hate crimes, against immigrants and a spike in murders.... i hope that they catch the person or people, and they should "throw the book at them" even better if they literally beat thier asses down, with one of Mr. Colan's heavy and thick hardcover novels.....a taste of ironic justice.

This is disgusting. I as well as a majority of the people on here, I imagine, would like to have a few moments of "alone time" with the dirt bag that did this. Let's see if he's as tough with some younger folks that know that our elders should be respected, not beat up.

i highly agree with you GAH, especially with this part "know that our elders should be respected" i was taught the same way... its too bad that alot of the younger people nowadays, dont practice this morality anymore.

Boobie i know how you feel man, and can also relate.... i dont think of myself as a "tough guy" in any way, but if you only knew all the times that ive had to let garbage slide here....just so that i wont get arrested and do time, for ramin a fountain pen up some "gangsta's" nose in a fit of rage, for tryin start sht, or tryin to get stupid with people mindin thier own business. in NYC the law is very quick to lock up any person (youll get a slap on the wrist, if you have serious dough and connections) over nothin...thats why our prisons like Sing Sing and Riker's are overflowin with inmates... but you do get "tough guys" here, they are usually the trouble makers that im talkin about. they are only "tough guys" for two reasons, either one they are carryin thier "power" in thier pockets, or two because they belong to a gang and know that the homeboys will jump on you 10 against 1....or it could be both reasons, in some cases.... unforutantley if we do give in, we have alot more to lose than they do, since they are pretty much tryin to mess your life up and become a p.o.s. like them.....
