DCUC wave 11 thoughts
Just got in my wave 11 yesterday... (Wave 12 comes today according to UPS) and I have to say that Kilowag is the coolest figure I have ever owned! He is big and bad! I was anxiously tearing into all the figures just to put him together after seeing the results of the torso and head! If you don't have him you have to either get him on ebay or get the entire wave, minus Steppenwolf, to build him! Coolest figure ever!
One of my favorite figures from the wave was Deadman. The four horseman really knocked this guy out of the park. The head and chest area part of the sculpt were fantastic! He looks like a cool zombie type figure!
My least favorite figure in the wave was The Shark. Just a ho-hum look to him. This is the classic look and not the new look Shark. I would have preferred the new look. All in all a good wave from top to bottom. Also want to give special props to The Question. Another good figure from DCUC.
Just my thoughts... :)

mark my words, but i have a feelin that the DCUC toy line, will be worth a wad of dough in the near future.... it might even come close to rivalin our beloved Super Powers Collection....

I'm just glad The Four Horseman are on it, or it would look cheap like the new Marvel Legends. We'll have to see how many waves there are, but it seems like it's going to go on for quite a while. In that case, I think it could certainly become Super Powers-caliber in terms of fan love. I think that the ability to build better molds has led to better figures, so it will be interesting to see what the future holds.
I really like Deadman, too, though he's generally been a sort of jovial guy, so the evil zombie look is a bit off. I really dug the Steppenwolves and I think Kilowog is in the top 3 as far as the C&Cs go.

Well just pulled open wave 12... Darkseid was eh... in my opinion, but at least I have an in scale one. The best figure of the bunch was Iron. He is a mega cool figure and I can't wait to see the rest of the Metal Men!
Mary Marvel was okay, but her legs were badly bent to the left. I wish Mattel wouldn't action pose these figures. It just bends the plastic all out of whack! The second best figure was The Spectre!
One question I do have... I thought Desaad would come with a Super Powers stand, but he just came with the regular DC Universe stand. Did I just get jipped or is that the norm?

Kilowog truly does kick a$$, really liked the Deadman figure too. I got the variant and his head and chest insignia glowing is neat as well. Looking forward to all the upcoming waves. I liked the Shark figure but he wasn't one of my favorites, I would have preferred his classic look, not sure where he appeared with this look. My favorite DC book is the run from the sixties and seventies of Justice League. Dick Dillin was one of the best artists going IMO and never seemed to get any love. I really like getting some of these characters I never thought I'd see like Killer Moth, Shark and one I'm really looking forward to Copperhead. I hope we get some Cockrum / Grell Legion figures soon, I like how they're doing one Metal Man a wave now, that would work for the LOSH too. Just need an Elongated Man now to finish off my satelite era league. Screw Plastic man I want Ralph!

The only bad thing about my Copperhead was he was really loose. Everything on him just wiggles freely... :(

I didn't like the neckpiece on Copperhead. He looks much better in the comics without it and I think it gives the figure a strange shape. As far as these mythical "Super Powers" stands go, I, for one, have never gotten any, though I remember them advertised for the SP Steppenwolf as well.
Let's face it, they're doing Plas very soon, and I just hope it opens the door for Ralphie boy sometime in the future. He's needed for JLI/JLE as well.

I hope ralph is the variant figure (if he isn't a collect and connect figure). We need the red and blue suit for satellite era JLA and the purple and white for JLI era ralph!
