Hi!
Hello, I'm Facundo. I've collected everything Mattel has put out in six inch scale starting from the Batman line and also some DC Direct when I'm positive they fit in my collection well.
When I started collecting there were two Batman lines: Mattel's Batman and DCD Hush. I liked Mattel's sculpts a little more but I always regretted not starting with DCD because of their better paint apps and "adult collectible" look. Anyway I don't tend to change my mind in the middle of something so I stuck. I have to recognize that just with the last DC Superheroes waves and the DC Universe Classics line they came close to DCD in getting that "adult collectible" look I crave, since all the figures before those got that glossy plastic look associated with kiddie toys. Ugh.
Anyway, nowadays I'm glad I jumped on Mattel since everyone is starting to collect these and trying to catch up is difficult since there are some really hard to find figures. With any luck the worthy figures (not that many, really) will get re-released.
I also collect Yamato and Kia Asamiya figures, the old SUPER POWERS/SUPER AMIGOS line, Masters of the Universe and Bandai's SOUL OF CHOGOKIN, especially Mazinger Z figures. I'm interested in collecting transformers, but that line is so complex I don't know how to even start!
Here's a link to my Photobucket page with some Mattel photos: http://s478.photobucket.com/albums/r...arianne_Vixen/
Well, that's all. Thanks for reading!

Welcome aboard!
I like your photos, especially the Deathstroke ones.
I was in the exact same situation as you. I was wondering whether to start collecting Mattel`s or DC Direct`s Batman stuff. I picked DCD and I never regretted doing so. But Mattel stuff is cool as well.

Welcome!
Nice collection. I have quite a bit of the SuperPowers stuff, and I'm liking the Infinite Universe stuff too.
